Dedicated to Today's Youth

We believe that kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. That’s why, through the Y, millions of youth today are cultivating the values, skills, and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health, and educational achievement.

Focusing on Healthy Living

In communities across the nation, the Y is a leading voice on health and well-being. We bring families closer together, encourage good health, and foster connections through fitness, sports, and fun. As a result, millions of youth, adults, and families are receiving support, guidance, and resources needed to achieve greater health for their spirit, mind, and body.

Programs

Health & Wellness

The Health and Wellness department at the Riverside / Temecula YMCA is dedicated to your well-being. We offer over a hundred (100) classes per week that fit all shapes and sizes, ages and abilities. Our friendly Health and Wellness staff is here to help you reach your fitness goals and offer gentle guidance in obtaining “Functional Fitness” regardless of your, age, sex or previous gym experience. And that is because the YMCA is not “just a gym”. We are a multi-faceted group of trained instructors and fitness coaches that have your best interest at the forefront of everything that we do.

We believe in the “Hard and Soft” physical exertion principle. Offering a wide variety of classes, everything from the quick upbeat Body Pump to the gentle chair yoga and Tai Chi, we have a program that fits your needs. Our trained fitness staff will help you evaluate whether it is better to start out in a gentle water workout or jump into a Step Kick Fusion class.

Our 12 Week Program, Woman to Woman Program and Personal Training can be tailored to your specific needs. Our Nutritional Counselors can walk you through a safe and easy way to change the self-sabotaging eating habits that keep you stuck in a rut.

Looking for something the entire family can enjoy together? Try out our new Family Zumba Friday class starting in April. Want the kids to get activity and movement while you workout? Drop the kids off in our Mighty Movers. Check out our family line up of classes.

Summer Shape up Special. Buy one get half off the next one in any of our specialty programs beginning April 16th.

Adventure Guides

Adventure Guides is a YMCA-affiliated program formerly known as Indian Guides, and Indian Princesses is now known as Pioneer Princesses. Together we are a parent and child organization focusing on strengthening family bonds through monthly campouts. The goal is to spend time with your kids while they are “still kids”. Campouts start on Friday evenings and go through to Sunday morning. These weekends give us the chance to be a family, to be with our children, with out the distractions of work and home.

All the Adventure Guides kids get to run, play, ride bikes, and get the opportunity to spend a weekend outdoors with their family. What better way to grow and strengthen the bond between parent and child?
